Preparing your car

• Wash the car before handover so its condition is easy to check.
• Note or photograph existing scratches and dents, and the odometer reading, at handover.
• Remove valuables, loose items and removable accessories.
• Leave only a little fuel in the tank.
• Keep copies of the registration certificate (RC) and insurance with the car, and carry the originals yourself.

Handover and delivery

We recommend checking and recording the car’s condition together at pickup, with photos, and checking it again against that record at delivery before you sign off. When you request a quote, we will explain how your car will be transported on your route and what to expect at handover.
